Blood Donation

There is a campaign for blood donation and i've attended it today.
It was a nice experience and it was my first time...LOLx..
Was like a small kid asking around,

Q: Hi, I would like to donate blood
A: Ok, fill in the form at the back first

Next i finished filling the form and pass it to the person who runs the screening for blood type...
There it goes...

In the Form, I was listed to donate 450mL blood...

Next moment, still quite chilling sitting at the bench calmly and quietly waiting for the nurse to attend to me...
When i was being poke... it was a little pain but yes, i am scared Lolx... never knew i would..
After that... Blood flushed and within a short period.. The bag was filled with blood... a freshly packed of my blood... heavy put on my lap for a while ... OMG.. i was a little excited seeing it.. LOLx... crazy...I think i'll do more donation in future...

That was a rushing morning but the evening was sweet...

English Proficiency

Was having a conversation with a friend of mine about how to being expressive:

Few words of the day go to:

Choosing the right word to say at time
Being expressive in choice of words
To make people understands what is your point

My thought of the day:
1) Obviously that people don't understands my point partly/wholly because i don't expressed myself in an appropriate words at times
2) I think too much
3) Either the channel of mine and friend is not at the same frequency or i'll have to buck up for my command in english and how to being more expressive
4) Just keep the moment of silence and observe and learn the lesson and probably the next session if there's any, you could make the next person understands you
5) No doubt that the person who just commented truthfully and sarcastically just gave me a slap in face

Sometimes i wonder:

Does communication depends only on how you delivered those words in an expressable to the next person?

Or Does it depends more on how a person feels about what you've said?

Well... signing off for the day... i can't be more disappointed than these...

I'll just be silence at times, be these way i'll think less...

Am quite routine these past few months,
great to meet great people throughout times,
Enjoy some company with few buddies that i've get along well these few months...
Plenty output daily with limited daily input... Well that implies to only knowledge but weight gained is like a daily thing to me.. unevenful but unavoidable..
Seems to be quite routine... and guess Lackasaidical is the word to be...
NO.No.NO...
I cant be lackasaidical... I guess it's just time that takes things to spice up and patience to await its arrival...

Bid Goodbye 2010 and 2011 is definitely going to be a changed, for better

2010 was a roller coaster to me, ups and downs are almost uncountables and bombs, missles and hustle were everywhere ... A sum up to be, it was an unforgettable year... Round and round of circle that i have or used to have.. I'm glad i still have plenty of them around and more importantly.. those worthwhile ones... Some was pretty disappointing...but geez... not anymore in the brand new 2011...
Those whom i cherished, i'm glad you're and i am going to cherish you for my upcoming another few more decades to be... You know who you are, needless of me saying ^.^

The very last day, i'm celebrating with the usual ones whom i celebrate my last day of 2009 and am glad that Jaclyn could made it with us this year... all working wannabeessss
They are the four whom i cherished... there are more... and i hope to keep the list for months, years, decades and even if century if possible...And i'm glad that ong ong join us again this year too... and pretty lovely to always see them as couple around...

better still... there are moreeeee.... another lovely ones.. XD

Stepping into working world

I've been working for almost 2 months as a provisional registered pharmacist...Surrounded with plenty rumours of the stress and workload and yes indeed, i do feel the pressure and wave floating towards but i somehow felt that the past two months was awesome and i'm glad that i've learned a lot and i realised that how good that there's mentor and apprentice session with my bosses and that includes my seniors, i felt good as though it's getting interesting and excited with plenty learning and eye opening new information going on and i'm starting to love my job. I crossed my finger earlier which i've thought that it's going to be dull job but i'm anticipating new environment and new knowledge encountering session and hopefully the upcoming stress would not outcoming my enthusiasm...

Be hold, one day i'll sharpened my skills and knowledge and be proud of what i am doing...

Jovial exercise before start work...

I've started my work few weeks ago and two days before it, a friend of mine invite me to join them for this thrilling experience at Bukit Cahaya for the SKy trex ... It was a nice good morning and i'm excited already just to be there... I'm a bit anxious since i'm phobia to heights but am looking forward to it...

Yummy Duck @ Kuchai Lama

It's not a new restaurant but it's new to us...
I'm a duck lover... i don't mean those gigolo but real edible duck whether they are teochew style, crispy beijing style or the very normal of its kind...
After the visit to the skybridge that day, we headed Yummy Duck in Kuchai Lama for lunch
Apparently, it's Hong Kong style restaurant...
Yeap, food made from Hongkie.. Me with my lunch meal, Yummy Duck's 3 types of meat (Fried Pork, BBQ pork and duck) with a very chewy and you'll heard some crunch as you munch those mee, specially made by their chef, i would say this mee is another better taste than traditionally famous bamboo shoot mee. Both mee is still my liking...and easily found in Kuchai Lama

Slightly higher priced of the food if its kind but it tasted really good and worth its price...

Good food with good price :P

Well, it's still cheaper than those Crystal Jade or Dragon-I la... so no complain about it.. ^_^

Yummy... I would love to revisit this place again..

Malaysia Twin Tower Skybridge visit

A few buddies of mine after the last meet up at Mid Valley decided to go for an outing just right before our virgin steps into the real working environment as a future druggist to be..
Being a Malaysian, one shall not missed our Malaysia's famous twin tower or rather, it's like the saying that if one have not been to our KLCC twin tower, one has yet to visit Malaysia...
I was told once that in order to go for this visit to skybridge, you shall queue as early as 7am... I was shocked because i 've planned to go only at 10am... Hilarious...
However, good advice are meant to be taken, so i was there at 730am and as predicted, the queue is awesome and i was given a tag numbered 95, imagine that, it was just a weekday? Most tourists and locals are willing to queue just for about 8minutes visit to the ever fame KLCC skybridge...
I've not mentioned that the ticket (FREE ) was only distributed at 8.30am and each person can book up to 15 tickets and subjected to the time and the slots availability. They do occupy up to thousand people a day...

Passes was given to us with a short briefing and video clips by the Petronas to introduce basically their corporation and KLCC Us at the 41st floor at the sky bridge...
Enjoy the view and photo taking session..
A very good reminder... never forgets your camera... it would be a waste for all those queue and all.. without good photos and memories...

It has been quite a while since my last post, and i'm gone for almost 2 months,
It's split seconds or it's like forever, time has passed and it's new experience for each moments of it... I've plenty to update with but would like to do some clean up and reorganised on the blog post, i hope i can do it...

Throughout these two months,
I learn that i should have desire, be faithful, always auto-suggest, equipped with skilled and knowledge, persevere and persistent and behold with the power of mind

Split seconds... All things messed up...
But i do feel relieved... i've no idea why...
the justification date was supposed to be terrified
but way worst, the waiting was all that i'm terrified most...
Relieved now but i could not have the peaceful holiday yet...
Will work hard for the final stretch before my merdeka days come by..
Many plan and serious ones been all up, for a second i've thought i've grown up a little and it's all need to be postponed for time being...
Job was ever ready there and all i have to do is to wait for July to come and things postponed could be resumed...
and hereby i declare my selft for 3 weeks of study resume...

Been to a hair saloon recently and had a long conversation with the hair stylist and one of the topics that caught my attention was the men's bra...
Well.. i'm at least not aware that now mens are actually wearing bra which can be worn discreetly under the men's clothing...
He claimed that the bra can actually helps the gents who wore them to relieve their stress...

Anne Boleyn and King Henry VII

A short conversation and i think it's interesting just to listen to my friend telling this stories which was portrayed in a movie which i've no idea what's the name already...

To those who knew the stories...

I would say, King Henry did all things because he allow himself and he is with his all will to grant the act for whom he thinks he loved (blinded) but when situation changes as all arrows are against him, he started regret and do things opposite and even worst above it, sacrifice his once loved ones.

While it may be a very dark sorta story,
The morale; One is blinded or not, it's because of own will, i would rather said, King Henry blind fold himself rather than affected by others attraction to pampered his love ones. While others blind fold him, he would even sentence the love ones... so which are darker? The one whom being blind folded or those who blind fold him or the one whom he himself willing to blind fold for...

Aren't the advertisement nice for Ole-Ole Bali? I was practically searching it and gotta know that it is in the outbound area in Sunway pyramid... well, while i may be good at recognise roads and places but i'm not too familiar when it comes to interior especially when it comes to shopping centre... And i've finally arrived....
Ole -Ole Bali, an Indonesian Cuisine Restaurant Your truly balinese experience... The taste of food here is definitely with difference than those Malays food you've always opted for...

Munz with *MY*souvenir from Dee back from Vietnam =P, those tit bits are crunchy and i've practically munch it daily... a must to get it from Viet , I shall ask Dee to get it from me another time hahaha XD
Not to forget, those Barley Lime is nice and paiseh... it was also the first time i've drank barley with lime

Nasi Campur Ole Ole and i've practically love this very much... Sotong oh sotong... those barbeque aroma u have still in my mouth melting every seconds... *YUMMY*

This meal is in smaller portion but the lamb meat was awesome... *oily oily and lovely lovely* haha

Pasta Zanmai in Midvalley

Gosh, i just realised that these days i've been kept eating...
I was new to this place, always... say me bahliah or wat, i seldom want to explore Midvalley =P
I always passed by Pasta Zanmai and i've thought it is such a small place but when i've entered, well, it isn't as small as what i was initially thought....
Again!

Why am i eating lots when i kept saying i wanna die.... diet...? XD
But it's for birthday celebration and i guess it's ok XD
Yim Wah sweetly with Jeremy =) and if you notice the baskin robbin ice-cream, i guess i've finished 1/3 out of it... i'm a well known DBKL when it comes to birthday cakes... all ladies and gents are so slim-concious and decide not to eat cake much....

The few ppeeepppzz who arrived before me, wen and Edwin, owwhhh btw, im not fashionably late, i went to main masak masak with friends before i came....

And the soft shell crab with sesame sauce attracts me,

The Hazelnut coffee taste differently and i kinda like its aroma...

The soft shell crab spagetti sets which comes with salad and miso soup =), i like the soft shell crab.. they gave me two whole of it... XD juicy sweet....and yum yum

Apparently, they have a mini set which i find quite reasonably interesting, from an additional RM3 to 4 to your ala carte meal, you could enjoy a mini set

which gives you a large portion of rice plate (ranges from japanese curry katsu to unagi rice) and noodle (tempura or vegetable) which i would say its a good deal to share among two with only +/-RM22/mini set.

Another few pictures i've had with them XD I feel like sleeping already... It must because of the masak masak session~~~ my friend who wanted to cook a "hua diao chicken", instead of pouring lots of hua diao, she poured a wholesome of XO, gosh...

BBQ Chicken by Korean?

Fried Chicken are not rare and easily found from any stalls nearby the road to night market and more often seen as fast food favourites of KFC or McDonalds. It's rarely seen that fried chicken are fried with olive oil and surprisingly, it tasted more crunchy when fried with olive oil...

I've wanted to try this BBQ chicken for long and it has been years since it opened but never stepped in before... With Pei Wen's birthday round the corner, we've went there for a dinner meal early in the January...

BBQ chicken is the first ever restaurant who sells fried chickens that cooked using olive oil in Malaysia.
They have quite a good surroundings XD, and forgot to mention... it's in Jaya One XD and plenty branches and it's multiplying... The appealing pictures of their specialty

2010 New Year Eve Celebration

I'm having a simple yet happy new year eve celebration this year to welcome 2010. This does not mean that i'm having any complex celebration in past years, it just simply means i'm not in huge crowd this year rather enjoy the last day of 2009 with a few good friends.
We have an early dinner at Thomas Western at OngLay Restaurant near OUG. This is simply a place for good food for its own range. Here are the food with simply cheap price of western food.
Starring Chicken Maryland, simple Cordon Bleu, but it might be a little small portion for big eater but just nice for me now XD

This is the mixed grill and priced at only RM11.50, aren't that cheap?

Then we headed to TOP TWO at Kuchai lama for pool, but comparatively i would prefer other place for youngster games of pool or rather snooker. It definitely looks good inside and it offer more other services like Karaoke, mahjong room and etc. However, not that off my liking since i find it a bit uneasy if for ladies.

And there's a group of DSLR user trying to snap the moon and KF said that Gerhana bulan will be today at around 2 to 3am. Well, we're not enthusiast till that time, so we snap the moon and this is the best shot of mine with my semi-pro gadget.

Iced Kopi King at Cafe 101 Puchong

Anyone would like some iced coffee? Not the usual or neither the expensive coffee...
It's the ice coffee with some little tricks...
It's the specialty of this cafe 101 in puchong namely Kopi King...
Serving in black coffee ice cubes and with some effort to pour in the hot coffee with your intended amount of sugar and milk. For those who likes "kopi o", you can blend it without milk as you wished.
By the way, do you know that iced coffee is actually founded by the Japanese? Well, i've just got to know it few days ago where coffee was founded by Western and even in some old days the coffee was defined as hot drinks and only till the 1920 iced coffee is introduced by Japanese...

You can have a coffee break time here or you can order with food and i find their curry nice and sweetly tasted but for those spicy lovers, this might be under appreciated... XD

Here you goes the delicious pork ribs curry, the pork ribs' texture are tremendous and delightly flavoured
After a nice meal, you can go for honeydew sago lolo and the sago lolo is different than the usual ones you've got
Here i go with the peeps during my study break XD

The nice food is averagely priced with the Kopi King slightly above average. A budget of RM15 or lesser, you can easily enjoy a good meal here.

Location of this Cafe 101 is in Puchong oppositite IOI mall, opposite the station one which is the same row at Maybank.

If you want to have other activities apart from shopping at IOI before eating out here, you can go for pool or snooker at the same building at Club 2 centre above the food. It is a cosy and nice environment for professional snooker player but of course i am not haha, but amateur like me can enjoy over there XD.

POKER?

I guessed that the word POKER are best remembered to Lady GaGa these days for those keen at english musics but the thing is that POKER are very addictive... haha i don't play for the real money but animated ones...

I was asking , "Hey friend, what are u up to at this hour?" It's already been 3am, and she replied, " What's your guess? It's a facebook game", Erm..... Erm... Restaurant City? Petville? etc etc... and she replied again, " Erm... i donno about those facebook games, I'm playing Poker"

Weeks passed....

And...
Yesterday, I was chatting with her again, and Tada... I tried POKER and YESHHHHH
IT's very addictive... hahaha but i'm a BIG BIG LOSER... but it was fun overall =)

Being Old Town Citizen?

It's been a while since i've written a post, basically busy with my usual routine, nah, not study but something else... Been doing some daily chores at home, outing for yamcha, ice skating (thanks KF for the treat), movie of 2012 which i've not intended to watch initially and some micellaneous... A day yamcha at Old Town, well not the PJ old town but OLD town which is basically everywhere and it was known to be my second house in Cheras, Old town cheras... Went there to meet up with friends for some quickie update and something else... and saw this offer... nope, more on the catchy cute little wordings like "Old Town citizen" Lolz... just nice for a person whom frequently pay visits to old town coffee house.

A nostalgic feeling that i always have every moment i stepped into Old Town and i liked it, not those air conditioned, or the food or the coffee... just the sweet old times i enjoyed and makes me comfortable to talk with and chit chat ...It was not a bad idea to have frequent visits therein and the citizen package cames in just nice although not very much appealing but it wasnt a bad idea at all if i were to pay visit in coming year
With only RM13.90, one is entitled with this box, this box includes a calendar, a citizen card which you entitled to certain offer with discount, a planner with vouchers differs from every fortnight... They do have plenty signature old town outlets with different outward appearance and definitely a different environment and taste... compared to small little Cheras franchise

It has been lately that the stomach pain i'm having is more obvious... It's almost very apparent last time where each time i've taken steamboat, the immediate diarrhea effect takes places...
If i so happen to have eaten for days... there goes my poo poo as well... well, i do enjoyed eating despite all those unless i'm ill physically... diarrhea could be bad for me...
Went out to makan and could decide what to be eaten.... Thought of fast food Mcd... It's about 1pm... and this describe how good is their marketting especially for ppl like me.. indecisive of food to be taken.... Normally i'll just got for Spicy Chicken in Mcd, but i went for Porridge at another place instead... OMG, am i really going Uuuuuhhhh-Ahhhh for the real healthy diet... I've thought so... But somehow, the stomach keeps calling me... not growling... but something... not knowing why but i think... it couldn't be bad ... i hope it's not stress induced? Lolx... perhaps... where that marks my piles of notes or things to be read... and i just cant help but couldn't concentrate when i'm home... that explained why i'm blogging?
Various thoughts i have these days perhaps because i'm practically leisure when i don't have any deadlines to meet for my assignments, reports...

Been enjoying with outings, while some unintended conflicts bumps in but it's ok now, a simple eating session with friends is delightful while catching up with some younger ones makes me miss my old younger times even more... I'll miss them, definitely even for more....

Mark a full stop on 16th October so i would start to prepare for finals...

Recalling that the charm i've got during visit to Thean Hou Temple which i've shown to a dearly friend for mutual motivation which i've got... and here it goes....

When i looked back, it was months that flung away... and it's course selection time again... i still remembered the last semester was so slowly.... and this was too quick and enjoyable at the same time dissappointing... disappointment is i could hardly be committed to friends... with exception if you're studying with me... you get most of my time...
Way too quick before i remembere when it was like when it first started this semester... or when i first entered pharmacy...Semesters ago, i was still actively participate or go work out sometime... but it wasnt now... one word bored....physically.... I who claimed that coffee should not be intake during study period... am actively drinking at least a cup in 2 days... although mild drink because i love "CHAM", a coffee plus tea drink...
I won't be sleepy if don't drink but i'll be mood swing when i'm not drinking... that explains why some flung their mood easily too? haha

And Fruits are running away from me.... lolx.. nope.... i love fruits but wasnt in time to sit in the living room to bite and bite... BTW, i fall in love with CHERRY as i've finally tasted it for first time early this year and SLURRPP

At times, i'll hang out at most on weekdays while weekends are my rest days and study day... OH God... i missed my leisure weekend.... where i can sleep till 1 or 2pm...

And somehow... everywhere i go... i seems too tired for any photography.... and this was the last time i took picture with my camera.... IT has really been a quite while... many eating outings or yam cha sessions... that keep my tummy grown bigger each day...

Am still happy because friend's house visiting is still a on-going tradition...

I love when it comes to home visits....

And I reckon my promise i've made somewhere middle this year, i'll keep it... although if it comes to losing everything....

Holiday Kicks away... my busy schedule, stubborness and sleepless days

Most my friends told me...." You very busy ar nowadays" with those exception for those who are in the same university as mine....

My answer would be always yes... that's because i'm still in the middle of process in adapting new environment in going for clerkship...

4 out of 5 clerkship had gone... and a whole month passed by where i start to be not familiar with daylight morning travel to university rather than routine 6am...

Many things i've learned from the experience, observation, things that i've tried to change, and more important, i know how to sharpen my ever unnoticed blunt pencil....

Often, people said that confidence are important, yes indeed they are but however we shall not confidently hang on to things that arent meant to be right.... i've remembered my cousin said that a lecturer comment on " You're confident, and especially even when the things arent right you're still confident about it"
Sometimes, it cant be help because we should be confident, but also at the same time, we should accept and analyze whichever outcome that can protrude the possible that we may not be at the right path. To be able to openly accept is what i'm seeking and practising all the while. Meanwhile not many that can accept, and i'll only say it once...
Despite my busy schedule, i've lift some days to go for my cousin's graduation and pooi munz graduation which happen to be the same day... and their university moscode entitled "ancora imparo" means whole lot to me now... and also one of their speech which said "stubborn vs determination" brings another different perspective to me...

Ancora imparo simply means "yet i'm still learning", life long learning so to be able to accept whatever information around us and translate it accordingly, it brings new whole different knowledge....

Again, stubborn vs determination, I am determine in my own way and sometimes that makes my stubbornness, to keep going on things that arent at the right path makes me stubborness while to be determine to do things when it's on the right path makes my determination.

To begin to sharpen, i shall start on the place where it makes my pencil blunt at the first place.
I particularly like a few experience i have these days for past 4 weeks, which is in HPM, a place where i understands that how things are systematically done although tedious but necessary to makes things smooth and prevent any possible route of "accident" errors. Also, in TDM, i learn how a person takes to be humble. In Satellite pharmacy, i learn how busy can wipe off a person's enthusiasim and empathy and on the other hand, how a person can indefinitely be caring and adorable. In TPN, the best so far, i've learned how things are learn by experience, how important is discipline although one could be just as playful but not at work, and most important, how to reasons and thankful for an opportunity that one could give some pennies to my pocket, it was said that the TPN session was a bombardment but i take it as an opportunity to learn =) and i truly treasure it since we're the only ones among all others...

And these mark my the end to my busy schedule...

It has been a while since my last post to express my personal thoughts... At most time, it's a sad personal thoughts but ever since i carved a rule in life for only happy occasion are left as memories while those despair ones are lesson to be learned, sad personal thoughts are to be left out of this blog... :D

A new semester and that march my step to my fourth year in July this year...

Its a new semester and a new challenge indeed... I would say it's interesting experience...

The past semester break, i had fun as always but slightly different that i've worked some freelance job and realised that things can happened within split seconds and gone within a seconds but it is definitely memorable...

On the other hand, different occasion occurs and...
My tears fall for once in this year after so many years and that marks the day i have changed for better...

I've learned that human life are fragile but they learned to be tough with adapting to the situations, and there comes setting priority in life...

With the abundance challenge i hold on shoulder, i finally know what i SHOULD do... but not what i can do or what i trying to do...

Challenge comes in various ways and only now, it takes me to know that what's my priority...

When i am busy, i started whining but it is now history, and in my inner thoughts now, there's only Challenge, Method to solve the challenge and How do i do it happily...

I knew i have grown up the day My tears fall for once in this year and for my challenge are no longer academically alone but life commitment, financial management, and human relationship...

I trully enjoyed my life now although i am busy with things on hand, on my shoulder and in my heart... Academic is important and way above that is good health and good personality with proper management is what built a person as a whole and it do built me and I have grown up little by little, day by day...

P/S: In life, things are not only about perfection but to learn how to see imperfect things perfectly...

Well, it has been 3 days since i was infected gmoutan, it's a type of viral infection and not common to most doctors except those who have experience in it. How shall i put it in a way? I've no basic reference on this disease except with past experience and current assumption. "Don't ask me for reference because i've no idea where i should find reference to support "

Gmoutan symptoms:
Started with extreme chills, the person experience unbearable cold feeling
Fever accompanied on the next day but usually moderate level
Vomiting may occur
Seldom with flu, cough etc
And it's not contagious

Another gmoutan also know as lang tan: which is the more severe form
person comes with bluish eyebag, with very pale skin in addition to gmoutan symptoms

Patient with above gmoutan or langtan should avoid
1) pork totally for during recovery period and one week after recovery
2) rice related food totally
3) avoid getting cold again or bath
etc

So what you can eat?
1) maggie mee lolx...
2) other mee without rice related products
3) bread
etc

Ok... basically if u analyzed properly gmoutan seems like our H1N1 but seldom it is presented with flu, cough or sore throat but the fever is great ... and the pain during this period is hardly bearable

I have this assumption since Gmoutan was way presented into my presence for past 15 years and h1n1 is only outbreaks now, in addition to the point that swine flu can presented in pig with not contagious in past to human, i am to believe that H1N1 is highly possible developed from this gmoutan.

However, all these are based on assumptions...

Ask me am i having Gmoutan or H1N1? my fever was as high as 40.56degree celsius and it subside the next day till now with proper treatment....
I went to a usual clinic which i convinced they can help me and ease my pain and that explained why i am still here blogging.
Another thing is if H1N1 wasnt so obvious... most hospital (as a traditional norm) they would treat those with high fever as aedes even without blood test confirmation...and most of the cases, is Gmoutan ... according to annonymous source

Restaurant Golden Boat Dragon in Taman Paramount PJ

IT has been quite a while since i've eaten a complete chinese traditional dinner which i used to have at least once a month last time when i basically cuisine round with parents for this and that dinner lar... and i enjoyed chinese food most and up till now... that proves i'm 100% traditional chinese? lolx....
Thanks to uncle Galvin and Auntie Peck for the nice dinner at Restaurant Golden Boat Dragon in Taman Paramount PJ, it's location is easily seen it's just right opposite the Giant in Paramount PJ... Congratulation to them because this is their pre-wedding dinner treat because they will be married somewhere next year in USA.... owwwhhhh far... Some simply snap pictures using an Ixus canon... it's very much user friendly camera and i felt i like it though :)

And me being super hungry immediately goes..... LALALALA with my lovely food... believe me... i am super fulll and enjoyable in eating that night... at the third dishes... i'm basically KO-ed

This is an awesome shark-fin and very much special because u hardly got any soup... and their main ingredient is freshly peel crab meat.... something new for my day...

Another favourite of mine.. nono not that huge pig... i meant those jelly fish...

And the fish which fresh but i never fond of fish especially with those high DHA ones...

Kai professional make up show at Cosmo Beaute Asia 2009

I have the intention to go out with some co-workers for part time at SRS and asked them to go for starbuck but instead, plan changed and we've ended up only go to the cosmo beaute event which i've no idea what this event was initially. I've sneaked in with the tag entitled UCSI instead of those others with some weird weird company names using other people's company name card.
Well, the first moment, meet up with the other few friends and then suddenly a friend told me, there's a fashion show up there, come and take picture... i was like okok... coming ahead... haha
Then when arrived, woah... immediately spotted the well-built body and darn eye-relaxing moment because this male model just had so good body feature... this is an amazement of the day... and presenting to you will be their Kai professional make-up show rather than a fashion show but they made it quite interesting as those models will walk like robot and pose for us... well, the crowd was huge and i was able to snap only from far.. and i guess i'm glad i've brought a camera that day though as usual ended up with no battery at the end. Our UCSI students have put their hardwork hand in hand with the medicine and nursing students to conduct this year's Public Health Campaign in Sunway... OMG, i'm damn laid back right now, it was early in July as far as i remembered... and it's now end of July... =.=
Their theme this year is "Healthy Living: without diabetes"
Here's their beautiful banner at the exhibit area.... aren't the heart just too beautiful? Putting a hand in care of our heart can be wonderful and at the same time hazardous, justify for how you want it to be, a healthy Heart or it's up to your choice?When we reached, as usual, i'm a late comers, don't ask me why, i don't wished to explain why am i late to the events and they've basically close down the area and only after-event discussion is the only things that i could observe.... it was such a waste since i've yet to really go register in their events, "back in their Pandamaran sub-PHC in Klang, i was late and still manage to try out but this time... a nono..." yet... I'm looking into wine, coffee, chocolate and cheese nowadays and i ter-bump-ed into Cadbury?
After the data entry part time so called free-lance job, i continue my luck in job hunting while waiting for the commencement of class as the holidays ends for this semester. OMG, did i just sound like i want to be in class already? Well, partly yes, because i cant help to stand myself moulding at home or going out spend endlessly to hang out and buy things... so i would prefer to be tied up with class...

Ok, the fact is i am still in holiday, this is way back on 25th June 2009, and i received a call from this company and the conversation goes like this

"hi, you've been shortlisted bla bla bla....... etc etc..."
I'm thrilled because i didnt expect it was coming,
During the interview, i wasnt expect it to be less than 10minutes?
Then, i was expecting it will be a screw up interview and yet, i receive this sms the next day during an outing with friends...

Congratulation, you have been REJECTED for this job. Please bring...etc...

Then i was wondering? why congratulate while am i rejected and why still you need some details from me? LOLx... i wonder this person must be too nice to reject me in such a kind manner

Then, second message come in,

"this is no april fool joke, you're SELECTED for this job, please etc..."
Woah... i'm thrilled, truly....

So what am i doing actualy?
I work as EVENT COORDINATOR, this is my first and i'm actually quite enjoyed it with simple task and yet lively...

and apart from that, we got the chance to have some souvenirs and i shall not disclosed the quantity i've got but here are some of their NEW product which i'm kinda liking it already :)
I'm not sure whether they're out at market or not but it has been launched and i saw the advertisement going on already... believe me, you'll see a new Cadbury image with just these products and if you are one of those whom like the feeling of chocolate melts in you mouth, Cadbury is definitely your choice...

This is another one, fine dark chocolate with fruit and nuts, i'm yet to eat this because i've distribute to friends and family due to i'm still on my diet control planand this is my favourite of the day...

From the name itself, it names glamour, class and etc... and i like their packaging immediately..

The picture may have slight change in their colour, it was supposed to be more purplish but instead my camera capture as blue but isnt it interesting? :)

And for the rest of the months, i've been giving off chocolate to whoever i want and i feel good when sharing means caring :D

Came across this job and wasnt actually prepare for this and simply agree on the deal....

Why simply agreed? Well i'm not a very smart person but i do really have a good deal of luck... believe it or not... it really do for me..

when the person called me, the conversation goes like this

Me: Yesh, sure sure ;)

Mr. XX: Ok, do you have any questions about it?

Me: Can you send me the details regarding the job? (me being forget about which deal whether i have the details earlier or not)

Me: Ah... Ok, Ok, I'm just worried if maybe lost because i'm not familiar with the place and wat time we meet?...

Mr. XX: It's simple, it's near to the KTM Batu tiga, its actually at the Digi Centre

After the conversation, i've only recalled i didnt ask much... lolx..

Today's plan was initated by me, yes me... i'm feeling guilty because the more i earned, the higher tendency i'll spend it especially when that makan gang KF wanted to explore energetically...
My suggestion was western food and wanted to try Logenhaus after introduction by MUNz way long ago... and the plan started with early exercise.. PLAYING POOL in asia cafe... ... the picture are towards the end of this post....
Logenhaus being a Germany influenced restaurant where the looks seems traditional with an oversea suburb kind of feeling environment but was ok for me but not a good choice for couple in my opinion... luckily, we came in 6 people, this makes it a good attempt..., Cicak, Wei Keat, KF and ME, the UCSI and another 2 people which me and KF newly met days/weeks ago during work at Setapak, they are Heather and Nicole ... an interesting kind of person i would say lolx...
the word agriculture brings a lot of laughter...

The Chicken was said to be their specialty but was ok to me only, perhaps the food was ok to me only but wasnt really anything to shout about with exception on their onion soup... Most probably i prefer stuff with their specialty sauce...

Been "asked" to work in Setapak for a real labour work lolx... don't ask me, but for those whom knew, it's a real something wrong ...
Along with the colleague Qian Xue and KF with Yuen Si, Pappa Rich here i come... hahaha
I want to go this place because of their milk roti, silly? Yeah, if you happen to have something you like, when you got it, the enjoyment is just so good....

In my car with KF, Qian Xue while waiting for Ms Yuen Si which was a little lost from Selayang...
A little lost due to the word, JUNCTION or NOT JUNCTION... these KF and Yuen Si been arguing about these terms... over and over again... lolx KF, a Setapak-ian, not sure where is that Pappa rich Kopitiam in Setapak O.O
But luckily, we finally reached.....

KF ordered this, maybe i may wanna try it the next time or maybe not, cos the price wasnt worth for their quality hahaha But i'll come back definitely for this :D

It's a Hong Kong pastry stalls on the lowerground in Low Yat plaza in KL. Those buttery flavoured aroma filled all over this floor and my aunt decided to give me a half dozen of egg tarts for treat.

There's many flavour of egg tart they have ranges from cookie, pastry, durian, green tea, red bean etc. Others hongkie flavoured pastry is good as well like all time favourite lou poh beng. The bottom layer is crunchy and thin where fine care should be taken where you can easily breaks it into pieces because of its fineness. Also, it's lard-free... which ... I've no idea what it means lolx. And the google suggested that it is not covered by fats :D, so ladies... it's not that fatty good pastry...

I have not heard of this website before, I guess that I am well fortunate enough to not to worry about cash yet? Nah, who doesn’t like money? I worry about money and because of short term holidays, all I had are to stay home and rest but not any part time job seeking. One day, a friend intro me on a part time job aka cheap labour as data entry clerk. To be honest, the pay was low but if you realized, it would be considered reasonable if the work is piled for a month and it would considered as an approximate RM900-Rm1,100/month for a normal data entry clerk position. However, I’ve just going for a few days work and to gain some experience in addition to ease my feeling of worthless to stay at home with plenty eating with brain left unused.
Been work for few days and I’ve concluded that I’m using only at most 7 fingers of mine to type and was still able to reach a typing speed of 50rpm with 95% accuracy. I’ve thought my speed was lousy but it was moderate actually. This work is actually an experience of working and enjoying life because at most time, I was spending to venture places around the working area in Setapak to jalan-jalan cari makan and thanks to that, my diet plan was half-ruined. This company that I’ve worked with compared to past working experience, is comparatively small and somehow, I started to understands the importance of few principles which can benefits me in near future which is ORGANISED, SYSTEMATIC, EFFECTIVE and BARGAIN. I’ve got to know few new people and had fun and joy with them on outings and this marks a little difference to my dull-ing holiday despite I’ve been to trip. I guess I’ll just need to re-organised my plan and not to let any days to be overly hectic while some days was way to free… I’ve got a free blazer from Mummy and got some money to spare with these working days for my coming semester new formals. Haha

Singapore Trip 29-31th May 2009- part 2

The second day, we start up our journey at 11am, why? this is my first time in whatever trip that i've been before and slept the most hours lolx... quite a free and leisure feelings that i've had just yet... Having seen some advertisement...opps.. nope... it should be some banners about a restaurant which caught Cindee into attention, so we're gonna try it today as breakfast..
Been working with hewlett-packard for some part time job? yeah a MNC company part timer which makes Singapore handphone lines familiar to me very much...
If you have not known about the lines, the country code is +65 XXXX-XXXX and it begins with 6 for normal houseline while if mobilephone it will be 8 or 9 depending its either Singtel , starhub or M1 so the singTel shoplot catch my attention haha because all i've always rounded anywhere and everywhere are DIGI, MAXIS, CELCOM, Tmnet and now the arising Umobile Then, pass by this place, ooh i'm in Bugis junction in case i've forgotten about it haha...
and it's MOS burger time...
order a chicken teriyaki rice burger, yeah, the burger is made of rice instead of bread. It's a set with drinks and fried fries and i love the choice of drink where apple soda can be opted than those most common coke, sprite etc. Have i not mentioned yet about they have plenty varieties in food choices from beef, chicken, fish, seafood which includes scallop... with an afforable price

The two "sayang" who enjoying their lovely breakfast / brunch, they've opted for beef while i've won't be ordering it haha for a non beef eater like me...

As usual, when the sugar are in their blood, you can see some of these faces

I like the cosy feelings and now i understands why Malaysia's McDonald starts to invest in interior design rather than only target on types of customer, but in my opinion, despite the recessation, people still go for better quality of life... or as simply as a comfy environment

Nope... but to visit their National Library just opposite the Bugis junction at another corner at Middle road.

First thing i've seen is the 24hr book drop station... hmmm something interesting about the library to spice up my day... But first , please do not compare to what we have in MAlaysia... hmmm

Some sort of exhibits which i'm not interested much because, library isnt my favourite because books never like me, rather than i'm liking books hahah... it's because books are tools to increase knowledge and widen our mindset about things we've seen and felt which sometimes cant be help to gain by other means than reading and reading means sleeping to me... well perhaps i would prefer to use the other senses than my eyes as a priority to learn

This words makes me wonder...

which word? OK, one is the spelling mistake of the Malay words " MASOK" instead of MASUK

and another word is FUMIGATION, i wonder what it means, and it actually means a method to get rid of those wormie that could possibly cause destruction to books or simple as a method to well preserve a book

They even have some small garden site in between the exchange of rooms in the library floor

And Munz the book lover, starts her love story with this place... nah... but she love this library very much... haha she stated once, i would love to have my MPH store one day, so i can enjoy reading those books hahaha, sometimes i just wish that i have such passion like her with books...

Then, moving ahead, there's Raffles Arcade shopping centre... or whatever, it's with RAffles... haha, this place definitely looks like a high class place with plenty expensive stuff along the lots

and Cindy wanted to go to CHIMES, and found this maid cafe... hahaha

A place to hang out perhaps at night but not my cup of tea ...

And the Raffles city hall is just around the corder

Had a quick lunch at this place... a HOngkie restaurant...

and some Takoyaki? erm... not sure what it's called...

It's Taiyaki... it's definitely a stalls full with people... haha

and i've found this... and i've thought of my dad... Happy father's day and he may not be the super dad but he's definitely my only dad that i treausured

and such a sale banners or posters? was nothing like sale in Malaysia, seriously i love shopping in Malaysia better...

I like their bus station because they're with the road names on it and easily identified with basic tourist guides

and i've no idea what's this church is but it seems nice

passed by and saw the hippo bus which has promotion these months and information can be easily obtained from the tourist information centre in Orchard road which is just on the left when you come out from the MRT station...

and we've walked till the Majestret hall, some sort of court

and past by and reach the Clarke Quay or Boat Quay... , i'm confused... i think it's boat Quay... where you can get yourself a boat ride if you like...

and plenty dinner place for seafood but believe me, it's looks almost same to me for all these shop... but i wonder how it is like at night...

We've went to Esplanade, an art performing centre, and saw plenty performance and had a memorable night...

I love the violin band performed that night with cool looking performers and also the live mini concert by a Japan group called LOOVEE which have said to be new to international but am promoting very well soon, and it's their first visits out of Japan. Hope they can be real famous soon, i love their song titled "sakura" and the melody still flows in my head as soon as i've recalled it...., but i wasnt much fan of any concert but it was a good performance

Browsing for sometime throughout the net for its pin yin but well, perhaps it's not as easy but the chinese lyric is easily found but helpless for a "banana" like me...

honestly, i like chocolates but i prefer those with dark bitter chocolates... hahaha

but i didnt really know about those i picked and turn out to be an awesome ones..

- it comes with 8 pieces of huge blocks with the base of crunchy fine layer of biscuit and full of chocolates and with inner bulged of pear brandy...
- i love every bits separately as those pear brandy flows out or in combination and those fragrance of the brandy and chocolates are just too wonderful...
- best serve while chilled or moderate refrigerating

the non alcoholic ones...

Anthon berg cream raspberry chocolate

- as the name suggested, really creamy with plenty raspberry juices...
- with every bites those juicy raspberry liquid flows into every parts in the mouth...
- best serve while unchilled so that those liquid remains liquid because it will harden upon refrigerating and the juicy may disappear and left a solid inner with a gum like taste

p/s: i think i should start picking up a habit to random buy chocolates and try... :D

Singapore Trip- 28-31May2009 - Part 1

Imagine where we are? Of course we're in the airport before we could leave to Singapore...
My friend Munz settle for all lodgings which includes booking of air flight and settlement of the accomodation during our last Matta fair trip. Basically first time outstation with friends without proper plan but it should be fine since Singapore are just a neighbour country to Malaysia. This is what i've thought :D
We departed from KLIA sitting on the JETSTAR, a new plane to me... but with extremely efficient services provided. Why so? It will be more apparent as you finished reading the whole singapore trip..
Scene 1:
Sitting at Burger king while talking about plan in Singapore (basically we jus chat) while dee had her anti-gastric medicines (or others? i've forgot) and then...
TADA...
830am....
we're still there sitting...
and our flight is 840am... lolx...
we're walking and running like nobody business... to catch up with our flight...
seriously, my first time to be rushing for a plane flight...

I've been Singapore many times but never i sat on a flight to Singapore before.. and that's one thing good about it is, it provides good transfer services along with plenty guides for tourists and everything is cleared and no possible way that you can escape yourself from this "fine" country in case anything goes wrong...

What wor... don't stare at me, time for sunscreen lar... she's using skin aqua sunscreen which is water base and i prefer using it much too.. haha why i prefer? hmmmm shhhhh....

while we're looking for the way to get to town by mrt, we're heading towards terminal 2 which was the right place to get mrt to the places we're staying... Bugis station, and approximately 5-10minutes walk (slow pace) you can reach Oxford hotel which is right behind the Singapore art museum (SAM), it's a 3 star hotel which i find nothing much to comment except the food not bad

While we thought we're in Terminal 2 ready to get going to city... , we're told that we've to get the Ezlink from another Terminal... =.=, why cant we get it here? hmmmppphhh....

Well, forgot to mention, Singaporean we've met so far are well friendly but on the other side, some really are totally indifferent... cant they just be all friendly rather than one of the other opposite extreme... i'm not sure the proportion but i am surprised that those in the imigrant department are really friendly and helpful

In MRT, i do like one thing about Singapore is that, being a fine country, it keeps the country , the area around it clean...

the MRT is much spacious than those found in Malaysia

and easily, we reached to Bugis station and i think this hotel is in a strategic area where it have plenty attractions spots around it....

Bugis Junction capital mall is the first building i've seen... :D

and just opposite it, it's the Bugis Village where the Bugis street is just ahead from there

In Bugis street, there's plenty small shops, something that will gives you a feel of our Malaysia Petaling street or Sungei wang in Kuala Lumpur with an exception, it's more organised and things are cheaper provided if you don't compare ringgit to sinapore dollar, and from here, i do begin to believe that living cost in Singapore aren't higher than in Malaysia, somehow...

I find this board interesting because i've heard of Lau pa Sat market which famous for many hawker food from all Singapore related "makan" show

and even the fruits is really darn cheap, can you get any RM1 fresh juice in KL? Even in places like Kuala Besut on the way back from Pulau perhentian of last trip, those fresh juices are opted for RM1.50 and with limited choices,

Then, hungry us, went to a famous roasted BBQ pork and dumplings stall near bugis street but , it turn out so so to Dee and Munz because their wantan mee wasnt good, but my rice was not bad :D

Walking, walking and looking for some air conditioned places because Singapore is hotter than Malaysia for those few days... and i've been sunburnt from Perhentian trip makes me even more unbearable...

Finally got into some place... Nice bugis junction capital mall... interesting layout, plenty cosy restaurant... and i even spotted a new movie soon to be on show... my anime ... , real people presenting this round... blood plus :D

pass by this place.... it's fast food... i guess my life arent without fastfood...

It's Ok, it's ok... if i need to be with fast food, then i'll be hahaha

It's MOS burger... our targetted breakfast aka brunch tmr...

and we stopped by having tea at Shokudo japanese restaurant... for a cup of tea....

A huge cup of Macha float- green tea with milk ice-blended with the vanilla ice-cream topping, love it because t wasnt overly sweetened and those green tea fragrance is unforgettable :D

and they serve with sky juice....drinks...

and despite her hunger for leng chai, she also ordered this...

interesting presentation because it comes with hot pan and those fish flakes topping is dancing on the salmon pizza as those steam makes it moves left and right :D

and we've decided to take a look at Bugis area before we venture into other places for the day since we're a little tired after waking up as early as 5am in this morning

and that's the newly opened mall named ILUMA

Our main next station is going to Night Safari, and will hang out around here before we could get our transport (mainly still figuring how to go ) from here... according to online sources...

Well, only towards the end we found out an useful tourist information centre outside paragon mall, and believe me, if you're a tourists , you should spend some time there as this station is very much helpful...

and the night falls and we've finally found the right way to get to Night safari... and at the same time.. my battery is low.... no photo taken thereafter...

and the night we've spent with plenty animals and a bunch of orang asli in Night safari...

always everytime i've been Singapore, you must get to Night safari because its the only place nearby you could get in close distance observation with animals with no guarded by any fence but purely naked animals up to as close as maybe 1.5 meter distance?

May update more if i've got some pictures from Munz... haha so happen that Dee's camera KO-ed like mine as well..
